I've been there and done that in so many ways, not regretting any of them. I believe that we grow from each experience - whether a sucky one or a great one. They all teach us life lessons that we need to learn to fully become who we are to be. No regrets...not a one
Born in the 50's to a schoolteacher dad and a stay-at-home mom. Oldest of 3 sisters. I thought I knew it all and was bossy from the day I could talk
Dad had very high expectations for his first born (not uncommon) and my struggle for perfection grew from there. Hated to disappoint and took decades to overcome that fear of failure
Married my high-school boyfriend, who was a varsity football 'star'. I was finally "somebody" because I was dating him.
We married at 20, divorced at 27 because we both realized we really didn't like each other. Probably one of the most amicable break-ups on record.
My younger sisters used to joke that "our sister doesn't date guys, she just married them." Maybe because I was married 5 times?
Fell in love with the hotel business and defined myself by my success in the ladder-climb. Spent the better part of 30 years in hotel operations and Human Resources.Â
Definitely didn't focus on my personal life as for me, that was much more challenging than my professional life.
Found my faith after hitting rock-bottom in the middle of nowhere North Dakota. Thankful for that experience in so many ways even though it devastated us financially
My life's purpose and passion has always been serving and supporting others. My coaching practice allows me to do just that.
